Process

A straightforward path from first conversation to final handoff.

Clear expectations matter. The exact scope varies by project, but the working pattern stays simple.

01

Initial conversation

You share what you are building, what is not working today, the pages you need and any practical constraints. I ask questions before proposing a scope.

02

Scope & proposal

We agree on the deliverables, project boundaries, expected timing, revision approach and fee before the project starts.

03

Structure

I organize the page hierarchy and content priorities so the design has a clear purpose rather than becoming decoration for its own sake.

04

Visual design

Typography, spacing, components, imagery direction and responsive behavior are developed into a coherent interface.

05

Build & review

For implementation projects, the approved direction is translated into responsive HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The result is reviewed across common screen sizes.

06

Handoff

Final files, notes and agreed assets are delivered. Any remaining project-specific items are documented clearly.

Working style

Direct, written, predictable.

Because this is an independent practice, there is no account-management layer between you and the person doing the design work. Communication can happen by email and scheduled calls when useful.

Project decisions, scope changes and approvals should be confirmed in writing so both sides have a clear record.
